But I keep my games long term, and when a game is either completely online or so tethered to it that any offline mode barely exists, then I have little interest in "buying" a game that is effectively an extended rental until the day they decide to shut down the servers, regardless of how long of a period of time that will be. I know MP is a big deal these days, and by no means am I saying that it shouldn't be part of the focus of this. I really enjoyed the previous two Battlefront games and was cautiously looking forward to this new one, but knowing that it was in the hands of EA, I certainly had my reservations about it. While I certainly would play online at times if I were to buy the game, online multiplayer is not my main focus with gaming. It can use the exact same maps, etc, as multiplayer and just have AI bots. There's absolutely no reason why there shouldn't be a full fledged single player mode.
